Jets are just looking for a vet Back up. Zach is now the starting QB and the season will go as Zach goes. If he plays well, maybe the players get a taste of playoff football. If he fails, were in position to draft his replacement. Buckle up, were in for a ride...

At this point it's all bullshit.
Zach is the guy
Whomever is brought in will not be significant unless there is another injury.

The Jets need to get a proven veteran game manager like Nick Foles or even see if Cooper Rush back up on the Cowboys is available. He is still fairly young and has proven to be a more effective game manager than Zach Wilson. The NFL is too fast paced for Zach Wilson. He looks like a deer in headlights

It would be the ultimate healing factor if Zach can become the QB we are all hoping for. He’s still young and talented enough to do it. It’s now and always been all about does he have it between his ears to do it? Does he see the field and process what’s going on fast enough to make the right decisions. Can he execute the offense the way they want and need him to? Can he complete the easy passes now? Has he matured enough, and can he lead this team to success? Did he learn enough from A-Rod?

I don’t think any of us have any real faith in Zach and that’s understandable. I don’t think any of us really believe he’ll be what we hope. We’re just hoping he’ll be half that, an average QB for now and can build from that point on. I’m not expecting 4,000 passing yards, over 30 passing TDs, less than 10 ints and over 65% completion percentage. None of us are! Just give us 3,000 yards and close to 20 TDs, less than 12 ints and at least 60% completion percentage. With this team, I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

Most importantly is to protect the ball. The interceptions and fumbles have to go. The dumb plays cannot exist anymore. Making the easy throws an impossibility cannot happen anymore. Zach did a decent job this past Monday night and this was a great factor in helping the Jets winning that game. He played reasonably decent football out there and with this defense, the skilled players and the special teams, this team can win with that. It’s a proven fact from Monday night and even last year!

I personally think it’s a good thing this next game is in Dallas and not in NY-NJ. Yes, it will be pressure on him, and the Cowboys fans will be all over him, but it won’t be our fans and our pressure. If they can find a way to play a competitive game and Zach does his part, even in a lose that will be something to build on and they can take that to MetLife the next week with pride. The fan support will be there for Zach in a huge way. If they win this Cowboys game, the fan support for Zach will be next level!

How many college playoff games was Zach in? How many Championships did he win? What kind of pressure has he endured? If he was a winner at that level, maybe he'll learn not to panic in the NFL. It's obvious he is terrified of being hit, and looks foolish running for his life out there. Learn to throw it away Zach, you're not the kind of guy who can salvage a broken play. Not yet, any way...

I personally have zero faith in Zach's abilities, but I'm 100% hopeful he will become a game manager like Trent Dilfer. I think he has shown signs of growth which is what this team needs. Just don't be the reason they lose. Let's see if JD and Saleh have the balls to pull the trigger if he falters. This is their mess.

I'm willing to give the Kid a chance. I never believed in Him from Day one.
My opinion hasn't changed but maybe with Rodgers input and Hackett keeping it simple they can Coach Him up enough to not LOSE games. We will see. I'm not optimistic they will sign anyone of significance and that Zach is the guy.

Zach might surprise us, who knows. Stranger things have happened!
