Lol. Better than "Who's on First"Simms will never relent on his love for Wilson . It’s funny, but despite the 3 INTs I didn’t think Wilson played badly. I think his biggest problem is he holds the ball too long which means he doesn’t really believe what he sees or he doesn’t know what he’s looking at .
Honestly, I don't think Zach lasts. With our pitiful O Line he will continue to take big hits like in yesterday's debacle. Plus, once Zach's first read isn't open, he immediately runs right and takes more hits. He'll probably wind up injured again in the NE game or the one after.15 more games, like it or not, Zach is the man. Hopefully he continues to improve across the rest of the season
This is highly likely, so all I can say is "get ready for Randall Cobb at QB"!Honestly, I don't think Zach lasts. It has become almost impossible to hear yourself think in my house watching our games. Between my wife, son and me we're all screaming bloody murder at various players and coaches. Seeing Saleh on the sidelines engenders a particularly effusive strain of vitriol. I never wanted the sap. But now watching him makes me livid. This is highly likely, so all I can say is "get ready for Randall Cobb at QB"!
Recipe for success! JD & Saleh![]()
How much shorter of a leash is even possible at this point? We (and by "we" I mean Woody, JD, Saleh, coaches, kitchen and custodial staffs) all need to accept that the kid fuckin' blows. The light will never go on.Zach Wilson needs to be on a very short leash. Next week if he has a first half similar to last year's horror shit show of a game in Boston, this coaching staff has to think about trying to save the season (it's an important divisional game!!) and bench him at half time.
I don't care if they put in Rudy in, for goodness' sake.
OMG! This sounds like my household LMAO!!!!It has become almost impossible to hear yourself think in my house watching our games. Any apartment or house we've ever rented, I've made a point to tell landlords and neighbors not to worry if they hear screaming on football days. As if someone is being carved up with an ax. That's the level of madness during Jet games. When Doug Brien missed his second kick, I yelled fuck you loud enough to be heard in several adjoining counties.OMG! This sounds like my household LMAO!!!!

Think if we still had Geno Smith........How bizarre is it that Sam Darnold's first NFL pass for a pick 6 is the high water mark for recent Jet QBs? lol
We were all agog yesterday watching the Geno highlights. How the frig did he finally figure it out? To me, it's completely shocking.Think if we still had Geno Smith........
- TDS
3- INT
0- YDS
440- RTG
104.07
Maybe we might make the playoffs
Again, I agree Good coach...wait did we not fire him too 30 years ago?We were all agog yesterday watching the Geno highlights. How the frig did he finally figure it out? To me, it's completely shocking.
I’ve been meaning to respond to this since you posted it but it kept slipping my mind. Question(s), what are the Jets supposed to do at QB this year if they cut or trade Zach? Who are they supposed to get that will be that much better than him, without giving away more than what that player is truly worth? What QB at this point would you say they should do this for? Please tell me!There is not a single player in that locker room that believes in Zach Wilson. 49ers got rid of Trey Lance. If the Jets don't cut or trade Zach Wilson then the people involved in drafting him should be fired.
Bring in Wentz as a stop gap until the new HC/GM draft a QB or sign someone in the off season. He'll need a few weeks to get up to speed. So until then, start Boyle (who looked a ton better than Zach in the preseason) and demote Zach to third string.I’ve been meaning to respond to this since you posted it but it kept slipping my mind. More question(s), you don’t think the 49ers wouldn’t have been in the same position with Trey Lance, if they didn’t have Brock Purdy? Now if you want to say they wouldn’t because they have Sam Darnold then so be it. Sam probably would be decent for them but he’s not Brock Purdy. Purdy has/is proving himself to be and above average QB at worst! Most likely better than that.
It’s because they lucked out or their scouting team is that great that they truly discovered Purdy that they were able to make this move. Otherwise, I think it’s pretty safe to safe that Lance would still be on the team and maybe even starting for the 49ers. A back up at the least. Some teams just have all the luck in acquiring QBs, however they do it and the 49ers are one of those teams. Steelers, Cowboys and Packers as well.

Well let me answer by saying this. Almost any QB on the street is better than Zach Wilson. They could get any FA QB and just see what happens. Zach's ceiling is "well at least he is not turning it over". And then seconds later we see what he is. This season is lost with Zach Wilson. The only reason you keep him is to tank the season. The Wilson experiment is over. The Jets are just too stupid to know it. This locker room is going to explode and this time it will be Tim Boyle t-shirts. Jets are about to be 1-5 at the bye.I’ve been meaning to respond to this since you posted it but it kept slipping my mind.
