The way Zach Wilson has played for us. We have gone from Super Bowl contenders to contenders for the #1 pick in next years Draft. Would you Arm Chair GM's take a QB with the #1 pick maybe getting a Peyton Manning or maybe another Zach Wilson to sit and learn behind Aaron Rodgers? Or would you swap the pick for possibly two (2) #1 picks this year and one (1) next year.

There is no QB worth a top 5 pick next draft in my book. There are some late day 2 options that we can look at.

This team is devoid of talent at major key positions. They better get a quality backup behind Rodgers if he even comes back. They should have traded the #2 pick in 2021 and they could have built a better roster. Maybe.

The Jets should NEVER EVER draft a QB in the 1st to 4th rounds again. Draft a QB in the 5th round or worse from this point on. Maybe even a undrafted rookie might be the best way to go. They just can’t seem to get it right. Draft a 2-3 year project from this point on.

Maybe they’ll hit on a Brady or Purdy sooner or later. This top ranked QB stuff isn’t working, so why not try it the other way. What the hell do they have to lose at this point! Trade the top pick for a haul or draft that blue chip olinemen or whomever. Just as long as it’s not a QB!

The Jets need to trade the first pick. JD has traded picks to get an average EDGE. Traded picks for a good, but not great yet OL in AVT. Traded picks for Breece. Traded picks for a 40 year old injured QB. They need way more talent. Even with Rodgers there are 10 teams better than the Jets and probably 6 that are so far and away better.

It's almost like we never learn...

We need a functional OL before killing another QB.

Hell, we even managed to kill a HOF QB inside 4 snaps.

Drake Maye and Caleb Williams are two top QB's who will go #1 and #2 in next years Draft. gmf1369, I can't see where you think these two QB's will fall out of the Top 5.

After watching last night, I'm inclined to go OT or WR with first pick. Agree with GMF that we can grab a mid round QB to develop.

I'm not saying there are not good QB's to take in the mid first round. My point being is: If we get the #1 pick. Teams will be wanting to trade with us for either Maye or Williams where we can get a bundle of high picks.

We still seem to have several holes on the roster. I would be more comfortable trying to trading out and acquiring more picks (especially since GB has one of our picks this year; they will get our 2nd rounder)

Season is still a long way to go and the Bears may end up with the first two picks. Unless Wilson folds again.
