You want to see what a huge jump this offense can make, simply rid Laken and McGovern along with Uzomah and Cobb. Trade or release, yes Bawden got a rushing touchdown who cares.

Look teams know shut down GW no one else will beat us bc there is no threat from Conklin nor Lazard and since we keeping Mecole Hardman inactive every week that his speed is neutralized.

...they bring in Seimien, only to see him fall on his face and get to say, 'Told ya we were better off sticking with Zach' and when Rodgers gets back he can learn under Rodgers.
This season is shot to shit regardless! I’m just hoping that when the Jets finish with a record of 2-15/3-14 and it’s time for the draft, they don’t draft a QB until he 5th or worse. Drafting a top ranked QB just never seems to work out for the Jets. Draft everything else but a QB. Draft a young project to learn from Rodgers for a year or two and hopefully that will work.

I wasn’t fooled by what this Jets team was. Sure they got better at WR, RB, veteran QB but O Line just isn’t a top 10. I’m not sure what the O Line is good at? Not good at run blocking for RBs and not good at pass protection for QBs , just look at Rogers after 4 snaps running around. Same on Defense! While better than O Line over all I’m not sure. Cowgirl passed all game to one WR on every pass route and Defense couldn’t stop it. Also when Cowboys did decide they won and run the ball Defense looked weak. Sure they on field most of game not able to stop Cowboys or Jets Offense 3 and out. While not bad but in 10 to 15 ranking while O Line is 20 to 30 bad. WRs also 10-15 ranks and get in 10 can’t be dropped passes right to them. QB ranking is 25-32 . Zach’s played a few games over a season and in his second year game wise. Coaching is all over the place and QB Coach is worthless . Zach no hard count obvious in Cowboys game and Zach no sense of the 3 seconds ball passed or run forward. Air horn - timer will help Zach head aware of that in practice. But hard count needs to be done with OLine. jets are not done being built and I rather Jets had fixed O Line in last 2 years.
BTW I’m tired of this Zach played 3 years! If 17 games is a season Zach is in year 2! Poor QB coaching hasn’t fixed simple things or set plays at shotgun to give him a second to see the field. I said it drafting him to sit the first year. Not to put behind bad O Line and Blitzes could hurt his confidence and make him panic. Hard to break that panic behind poor protection but Shotgun can help and 3 second training in practice to make aware when ball passes. I’m giving him this full season and that’s it. But coaching of development of QBs always been awful as you seen with Geno to Zach Jets QBs never get to be an average QB! Some is media and Fans constantly bashing every Jets QB even before playing 1 season or 7 games fans trashed Zach. I doubt and high draft QBs in college will play for Jets because of this BS. I feel sorry for fans but you also are the problem booing and kid after 7 games and into next season when shouldn’t have played. What a total disaster with this kid at QB by team- coaching- media- fans caused all of little chance in NJ of being good here.
No doubt the Jets screwed up Zach, but Zach was never worth the #2 pick. He is a 5th round talent at best. Couldn't beat quality opponent s in college. Wasn't voted a captain. Those are red flags. This is JD's fault.
I just hope this GM is never allowed to pick another QB.
If he drafts one in the 5th round or worse, even a undrafted rookie and they flop, it’s no lose at all. If he turns out to be a Purdy or Brady, then we hit on the diamond in the ruff.
He definitely wasn’t worth anything higher than a 4th round pick at most. Then again, I’m guessing Bears fans feel the same way about Fields and Cardinals fans feel that way about Rosen and Murray. Raiders fans felt that way about Russell. Etc. etc…
