Zach Wilson from his pro day showed nothing but flash pop, meaning his short throws skeered me as they were either low or behind his guys that were in shorts and tank tops. Yes he had four good throws deep out of 15, that is not a good pro day but LaFleur went goo goo for ga ga for this kid and swore up and down what he could do with him in his offense which again was a stolen offense of Shanahan. Even Kyle fucked up drafting Trey Lance who is almost identical to Zach Wilson in every aspect. Look it took Mr. Irrelevant a seventh round pick and a fifth round pick (Mike White) to be a master of this offensive game plan. Do NOT need a Top 3 pick with huge arm to be that guy.

So yes, I will say this again " I TOLD YOU SO "
Just like in my scouting report of this kid he has HERO BALL MENTALITY, meaning he is a good escape artist that improvises by extending the pocket but does not understand the concept of the check down, does not understand take reads one or two, he will always look for the big splash play which like Sam Darnold, Mark Sanchez, Brett Favre will always force the issue in double and triple coverage. The problem with Zach he will attempt to throw the ball from the sideline into the field of play off balance and there is no one home except the defense.
Reckless play from a EGO FILLED YOUNG MAN that believes his draft position is his excuse to be stupid. He believes that he is the guy and he is untouchable. The front office and coaching staff keeps giving him that false hope to continue to be his reckless self.
Despite not being a bastion for producing NFL talent, the BYU Cougars have proven that they can develop players. BYU quarterback Zach Wilson is set to continue that trend in the 2021 NFL Draft. Prior to Wilson, Taysom Hill was the BYU alumn that most NFL fans recognize as emblematic of BYU’s...
