Does anyone know how many roughing the passer penalties have been called on the Jets since the last one that was called on a hit on a Jets QB back in 2021?

More than have been called in our favor and by a long shot.
That's the problem. The Jets haven't had one called in their favor in more than 650 days. But it seems like there is at least one just about every game against the Jets.
The last few years, we seem to have an inordinate number of personal fouls. Late his, hits out of bounds, roughing the passer, etc. Not sure if anyone tracks that number though. I'd be very interested to see how we stack up against other teams.
That would have probably changed had Rodgers not gotten injured. The NFL takes care of the stars, and we quite simply haven't had one at QB for ages.
Jets have been called for 17 roughing the passers, 22 late hits and 3 personal fouls since last season when Hero Baller was hit on the sideline late hit at the beginning of the season.

Wow. That is just stunning. Even if the Jets' defense is aggressive, there is no way to justify the last 17 roughing the passer calls in Jets games being against the Jets.
Every. Single. One.
Bet Quincy Williams has the most of those penalties. He was always making stupid unnecessary plays leading to penalties.
JFM, too, I would bet.
I'm sorry. Other teams have players that make stupid plays, especially among pass rushers. How can the calls be THAT one-sided?

Late hits, out of bounds and unnecessary penalties when QB slides he has been caught 4 times over the last two years.
More like "Pop the Clutch".
Look at the QBs we trotted out. Zach, hold the ball run back 20 yards. Flacco, stand still,they can only see moving prey....
Plus the league protects it's star players. Something we have not had at QB in over 5 decades

Looked back and in 2020 we only got 2 calls and were penalized 14 times. That's about the same amount os 21,22 and 23
We play the Raiders in a few weeks. Pay the Raiders to hire Ben Davidson (if he's still alive) to sack Wilson and knock him out of the game for a few years.

Recall when Ben D cheap shot Len Dawson (I think) and WR Otis Taylor took him down. Great moment because it was the first time where I saw someone smack that bully asshole in the mouth.
