It's time for the Jets to start looking for a new GM. Joe Douglas drafting has been terrible. Sure he picked Pro Bowlers AVT, Sauce, Wilson and Breece Hall. Three of those in 1 draft. They are high picks! What has he done in the 2nd - 7th Rd, besides Hall? Below to average players at best. No STUDS! NONE! He was supposed to be a genius in building a great Offensive line. The OL stinks. AVT and Maybe Tippman. Becton is lazy and average. That's it! Oh yes he has brought in countless below average linemen to play like SHIT. Let's not forget the great Greg Van Roten. He STINKS as Knowing value in players. What was he doing when he was supposed to be learning from Ozzie Newsome, the GM of the Ravens. I was all in when signing him. Anyone would be when you have Adam Gase as your Coach. The Jets are the SOJ. The Defense is average. Great against below .500 teams. Not so Great against the top teams. We have Q on the DL and a bunch of average players surrounding him. Mosely at MLB. Nothing else at the OLB positions. CB's are very good. Safeties, below average at best. Let's not forget Zach Wilson. Why do they try and blow sunshine up the fans ass as to how good Wilson is. He STINKS!

It's frustrating because he has turned around this roster from where Mac had it, but just think if he didn't waste two complete drafts in Idzik fashion. He overpaid for Rodgers and overvalued the roster. I wouldn't go as far as say he has been terrible. Maybe average which is hall of fame for a Jets GM.

Average is a good way to describe his tenure. We have had the same holes on the roster for years (he literally pissed away Adams & Maye and Safety is one of our weakest positions).

He finds ways to ditch players (Moore, Mims) yet is willing to go down with the ship with others (Zach & Becton)

Ignoring the OL until it became a problem. Big mistake. Can someone please explain to me why every Jet GM has ignored the OL in this Era? I mean WTF?

Seems overtly simplistic, but the answer is that they were all idiots. Children hired to do an adult's job.

I don't blame JD for signing Rodgers, as that was all on Woody. I wanted Carr. He's almost as bad as Wilson. Almost. I like some of the other players he drafted on Defense, Johnson, Clemons and last years DE. There just not becoming Dominating players. Why are other teams picking Dominating players later in the draft and JD can't find one (1)? Not a single one (1)! His FA pickups except for CB (Reed) are terrible. He'd get more production of FA Offensive lineman from players who retired in the 70's and 80's then what he is getting now. It's simple Joe Douglas has NO clue about talent in the NFL. It's a crap shoot for him. Spin the wheel, where it lands that who we pick in the draft. I'm sorry for the ranting. Cannot we find a talented and honest GM and Coach/Coaches. Or maybe Owner, who doesn't fly away and leave his brother in charge to hire Adam Gase.

Terrible? I don't see how anyone can call Douglas' drafting terrible. Do we forget the garbage that preceded him?

Look at how much talent is on this roster compared to the past. Why do Jets fans think that every other team hits on every draft pick, and it's only the Jets who ever have picks that don't pan out?

I wouldn't call the deal he got from the Seahawks for a troublemaker 'pissing away' and as for Maye wasn't he going to be in trouble for being a drunk driver?

Kinda embarrassing to pick a Darnold (a 15 year projected player) only to pick a Zach Wilson 2nd overall , a fruit fly's lifespan later. The F.O. should have manned up, cut him and catch some wrath and move on.
Maybe, just maybe Zach's recent upward trendline can continue?

We have talent on the roster. QB: Wilson, Way, way below average. RB: Hall, exceptional. Carter, Okay. OL: AVT, exceptional. Tippmann, wait and see. Becton, ????. All others way below average. WR: Wilson, exceptional. All others average. TE: Average. OFFENSE: (3 exceptional players. All others average to below average).
DEFENSE: DL: Q, exceptional (not a Douglas pick). All others a bit above average to wait and see, LBers: Mosley Good and expensive. All others below average. Safeties: Below average. CB Sauce, He is a GOD. Reed, very good.
Where are the Speed Rushers?
Where are the talented Linebacking corps?
Where is the Great Offensive line that Douglas was supposed to give the Jets when he came here?
I am tired of hearing, "Well, he's better then what we had". Anything is better then what we had. IT's NOT EVERY TEAM HITTING ON EVERY DRAFT PICK. IT's EVERY TEAM HITTING ON JUST ONE OR TWO, GOOD TO VERY GOOD PLAYERS IN RD's 2 - 7
Next time read my Post SACK instead of changing it around, "to the poor old Jets". I'm TIRED of the past. I lived it since 1969
