Last time the jets could score in the red zone was so long ago I can’t even remember when. Parcells era? Zach is just part of the norm

Yes. All he had to say is we frustrated every QB. That I could agree with. He embarrassed Mac Jones so bad that he completed a huge TD play that won the game for the Pats.

Yeah, that was PRETTY DAMN STUPID to say and it will be bulletin board material for every other they play this year! Teams now will do all they can to embarrass Zach Wilson and we all know that ain’t hard to do.

I'm as unimpressed as anybody, but he has outperformed Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts in the last six weeks AND been on the winning side for the last two weeks, and few teams will pull a QB in those circumstances. And he did have a big completion to GW wiped out by Lazard followed by a drop from the same player.
the penalty was a bit harsh to put on Lazard imo Zebra's being jet haters again.

Zack & Co., even with the sacks, managed to put enough points on the board for the Jet's defensive team to strut their stuff and do their thing.

Going into the bye with a loss after that defensive performance would have been a disaster. Thankfully their defense gave the Jets offense a freebie TD. Although IMO, Breece should have slide at the one to run out the clock, but the defense was playing so good that going 75 yards was going to be difficult. Jets defense deserves a break. 3-3 feels pretty good. Zach is almost Trent Dilfer and that's a huge jump for him. The red zone failures are unacceptable, but on the flip side it keeps the defense engaged. Maybe they would let up if they had Rodgers. This defense is not even close to the 85 Bears, but they play hard and even Saleh deserves some credit for keeping them together after losing their starting CB's.
He’s almost Trent dilfer now implies that he could be Trent dilfer soon and better than Trent dilfer after that. Maybe he keeps getting better. I’m not saying he will, but after the fing Mike white stuff last year I couldn’t imagine how the kid could show his face in the locker room again, no less be the starter and win games. So who knows what he becomes.
I wasn’t liking the defense this season as they gave up opening drive scores every week. They do look better now for sure
I'm still drafting a QB next year and not picking up Zach's 5th year option.
I wouldn't pick up his 5th either, like I wouldn't have picked up Sam's but I would have offered Sam a new deal on lower terms and if Wilson keeps improving then he would get that same courtesy, I'm not sure how much his 5th year option is but I doubt it is overly cheap, Darnold's was 20m wasn't it?
Zach can do it on his own. All Saleh had to say is they have frustrated all these QB's. Jets can NEVER say the word embarrassed unless they are talking about themselves.
