Jets Offense and Zach!

Not much margin of error for this team, but they are 3-3 and they could be 5-1. The offense is not good by any means nor do I think it will be, but it's making some plays. Maybe not scoring TD's, but less 3 and outs allows this defense to create turnovers which they have done a great job so far this season. I'm not the biggest Saleh fan, but this team didn't fold after losing Rodgers so I give him and his staff a ton of credit. Zach is not embarrassingly bad right now so that's a huge change from his previous 2 years. I complain about this team a lot and I promise I will continue to do so, but it's nice to not be ashamed of this team for once. @jets82 and @Old#15 It pains me to be this positive.

Honestly though, Zach wasn't embarrassingly bad last season when he had Breece dominating games either. Everyone remembers Zach once Breece went down and he had to earn his cookies. When the running game was carrying us, Zach looked a lot like he does now (maybe a bit more confident now and he is using his check downs way more), but he was bordering on game manager (when the run game was clicking).

Breece goes down, we need the QB to do more and he fell apart. Anyone have any reservations that if Breece goes down now that Zach "will not" fall apart again?

Honestly this looks a lot like last seasons team before Breece went down. If he has to miss any extended time again, we will be in the same boat. One game at a time, the CS is doing their job and trying to put something out there that works (give them credit)

Despite what others feel about this coaching staff, they have done a pretty damn good job dealing with both the schedule and the injuries.

Agreed 1,000 percent. Now that Hardman trade yesterday was stupid as shit but I guess that was on JD.

I agree, the CS has done a great job of adjusting on the fly and keeping the team together and fighting. I will continue to ding them for leaving Zach in the #2 position where it was clear he needed to be sitting for a year, but no one expected Rodgers to go down 4 plays into the first game.
