So Zach might not suck anymore. I’ve been thinking that’s the case myself lately
I haven't.
Lol. I watch the games half heartedly paying attention due to the trauma of being a 50 year jets fan. The Eagles game was replayed on nfl network. I watched it again and paid about as much attention as I could muster. Zach did some good things. More than a few.
let’s remember this about Zach. He didn’t play many good teams in college and on top of that, he didn’t play many games in college. Year one on our jets he got killed every drobback. Pretty much the same the next year. It’s hard to get that out of your head. Especially when you’re learning on the fly.
he should have sat and learned for a couple years. He wasn’t ready to start. Especially behind a bad line. Not his fault. The new plan was to have him sit 2 or 3 years behind Rodgers. 4 plays into the new plan, he is starting again. The kid has never had a chance to learn.
and yes, I know he has done a lot of bad stuff while he’s been here. Hopefully the coaching staff has imbedded into his head that bounce passes are only used in basketball

This definitely wasn’t a game to think that Zach has or is possibly turning a corner! He looked like shit today but didn’t lose the game for us. He in fact came through when we needed him most. I just don’t get this kid! All the talent in the world but his mental just isn’t where it needs to be and it probably never will!
I’m not counting him out yet. He is what happens if a qb gets pummeled for his first 2 years. All they can learn is to expect a hit every time they drop back. Hard to get better living like that
Hopefully he continues to get better and doesn’t regress. We will need him!
Even though Zach came through when we needed him most, he played a horrible game against an even worse team. Not much to get excited or even be truly hopeful for at this point. I will say this as well, if Zach plays next week like he did today, the Chargers are going to embarrass us!
Siemian better be on the roster next week. I think the reason he is not is because they know he is better than Zach which is so stupid.

Jets just can’t Draft a franchise QB and it’s proven since 1965 Namath the last time. Also Jets are clueless on training a high risk reward QB like Josh Allen or Zach Wilson. Zach had to sit first year and learn as Jets fixed O Line and got a WR and RB. Jets didn’t do that. Instead started him behind a poor O Line that got his head spinning in panic mode. Top it off HC allowed team to blame him for everything wrong and destroy what confidence he had being started before ready. Now in actual games played by Zach is in second season not 3rd. Media piles on because fans are stupid and gets angry not knowing and thinking what really is the problem. Right now O Line is in bad shape and Jets needed to run play action instead of telling defense what they are doing. Of course same old Jets go get a good old QB from a team who Drafts correctly but still doesn’t fix how bad they are at passing on QBs. From Marino to Allen to winning a game by fired Coach to lose the best QB in Draft and make a good decision by taking Wilson but break his confidence by starting him and allowing team to blame him for team problems. Remember this is Zach’s second season game wise unless fans thinks playing 6 games year one was a full season and played 8 games in second year and still not playing ing 2 FULL seasons of games until 3 games this season Zach finally played 1 Full season. Of course Jets fans was done after 6 games in year one and totally done after 4 games year 2. Lmao no College QB ranked top in College will play for Jets knowing he has 6 games and trashed by media and fans. Think about that! I root for your Jets but can’t be a main team for me watching this crap by Jets since 1983.

I'm not sure where the Siemian love affair comes from. He won the Jets starting job way back, but has apparently been poor in recent years. The Vikings could have taken him from our PS but traded for Dobbs instead.
