By my reckoning we now have no cover at G or C. So it looks like JD needs to make a move in the next few days. Perhaps he's waiting for the weekend results to see if any franchises will go into fire sale mode. Brown is due back soon as well. Surely they won't kick Becton back to RT, that would be soooo jetsy.
Brown was literally the worst starting Tackle in football before he went out. It's time to move on! Maybe have Brown go play RT (we seem to kick everyone around the damn line "except" for him)

Depends on what you consider to be "good news". DNP means he will be out this week (so good news he is not IR, but we still don't know) LOL
Still on the report on Wednesday. We were anticipating Tippmann being out for the rest of the season, so one or two games seems like good news. Cobb is listed as DNP as well, but I'm not sure how much practice you need for his contribution. Sauce and Reed are listed as FP, but once again I'm not sure how this relates to concussion protocol.
Tippmann out, Sauce and Reed in. Billy Turnstile to be backup guard. Bad news is it looks like Cobb will be ready to fill his apparently indispensable role. Just as well the Jets have an NFL waiver for twelve men on offense so one can push Cobb's bathchair five yards down the field.
How is there no update anywhere on how this kid is doing?
Well we know he's doing better than McGovern or Schweitzer, because he's not on IR. We'll know from today's injury report if he is at least LP or still DNP. I believe that the center calls blocking schemes for the line, so playing with an emergency guy is a real handicap.
Tippmann practiced today. Get his ass at center and keep him there for the next decade.
