I don't believe Zach is a starter in this League. What We are seeing is what JD and Saleh saw. The KID shows flashes. Unfortunately that's all Zach seems to be. He'll make a great play but cannot sustain that level throughout the game. Some have it, some don't. Zach doesn't have it.
I don't see why we have to apologise for the 40 yard PI, it was a stupid play by the Giant defender who should have given Taylor the chance to drop it. The Giants were only in the game because of three bonehead penalties by our defense that had Saleh covering his eyes, You shouldn't underestimate the effect of our ersatz center, if you watch the exchanges you can see Zach uncertain as to what height the ball will come to him. Our offensive line is not good, even when a few of them are healthy. They are at best average at pass pro and it is no coincidence that none of our running backs can make yards between the tackles. Now we wait to see just how pyrrhic our victory was in terms of injury to our first and third choice centers.

It was a dump off and he broke 3 tackles to run that to the house. Technically a pass play, but reality that was all on Breece.
They stacked the box all day, since we don’t have a QB, so I guess put it on coaching that we didn’t run 50 times and limit our throws to 10 attempts

I get supporting the kid but can we do it with him on the sideline? How many times does someone have to fail miserably before we admit “he just can’t do it?” He’s shown us everything we need to see, yet we ignore the 98% to harp on the 2%? This is just completely illogical.

He would have lost against 99% of the teams today & 99% of the QB's today IMO. He was awful & got a nice penalty, help from the Giants coaching & a great run after the catch by Hall. There are many bad OL's out there so I don't buy that for all his failures.
I agree he is better then last year at a snails pace that is. But the ol is nor a full excuse. Many qbs face that. He stinks less then last year but at this pace he will be average by 2026
