It was a dump off and he broke 3 tackles to run that to the house. Technically a pass play, but reality that was all on Breece.

They stacked the box all day, since we don’t have a QB, so I guess put it on coaching that we didn’t run 50 times and limit our throws to 10 attempts

Brady made a living off short passes like that and receivers with insane yacs. For 25 years. Yes Breece did it, but we can’t take it away from Zach either. Last year that was a bounce pass

He would have lost against 99% of the teams today & 99% of the QB's today IMO. He was awful & got a nice penalty, help from the Giants coaching & a great run after the catch by Hall. There are many bad OL's out there so I don't buy that for all his failures.

I agree he is better then last year at a snails pace that is. But the ol is nor a full excuse. Many qbs face that. He stinks less then last year but at this pace he will be average by 2026

Well right now we don’t have much else so everyone better learn to live with him.

right now we’re 4-3 and right in the thick of things after a brutal first 6 games

yesterday with the rain like that, I throw that game out the window no matter who played it. Nobody can do anything good in that weather

I watch Garrett’s body language when talking to Zach. He is being a good teammate. He would not go to bat for Zach if they benched him. I also watched a hilarious YouTube short from 1JD. Asked players to pick 3 other teammates for flag football team. Not a single one said Zach. I thought that was funny. To be honest, none of these intellects picked any QB’s. Maybe because they are used to playing without one for last 3 years.

I don't know why everyone is saying "last year Zach would have lost that game". These are all the same arguments from last year where we were winning and 5-2 and everyone keeps harping on a handful of successful plays from Zach as proof that he is improving and getting it.

Yet, take Zach off the field, insert (led foot Flacco) or insert (Mike F'n White) and BAM we are throwing for over 300 and guys are open all over the field. This is still the SAME PLAYER. Yes he doesn't get on the podium and say "ass stupid" things and selfish ass oblivious things. But the play on the field is the same. The only difference is a CS that has limited his exposure and have him dumping off way more (which yesterday he reverted and missed a ton of short gimmes).

LaFleur threw guys out there and through hell or high water, just ran his system regardless if it made any sense with the players on the field. Hackett needs to get credit for trying to put a plan together to limit Zach and try to build some confidence. But I don't see a different player out there, and I certainly don't see a player who "gets it".

Just like last year, it's "don't lose us the game"! We don't have average QB play, we still have "worst starter in the NFL play". He makes a nice play here/there and he makes a ton of plays where everyone is just like "WTF?!" So many plays guys are open right in front of him and he seems to be processing................................................

He doesn't see the field. He is not an NFL QB, he's an athletic kid who can throw a nice ball, but he can't process the game.

He is a huge part of the problem. Not the only problem. Nobody ever said that. He looks like Tebow for 59:36. Then makes a couple throws and his awful throw was so bad it led to a huge PI penalty. I will take the win, but he makes it much harder on the defense to win these games for the Jets. We are going to lose a lot of games because of those horrible 59 minutes. I think what us anti-Zaxxers can't get over is the exact same pocket awareness. Thats not changed. Still runs backwards. Still throws off back foot. Still takes huge sacks for huge losses. Still throws dirt passes. Those are drive killing, gaming losing traits. We just want another option to be available for games like that yesterday. I will give him credit. He played exactly like that last year after the bye vs the Pats, but he did make plays yesterday at the end. So he is 4 plays better than last year. The coaching staff is to blame for his development, but JD is to blame for drafting him and putting behind this OL.

Who has access to next gen stats? I'd love to know how much time Zach had to throw yesterday. On the big throws at the end of the game, one was 9 seconds, and one was 7 seconds! I'd love to know how it looked across the game. Our O line made mistakes, we lost two guys out there yesterday, and they cost us a few plays.

But they knuckled up and had some really good moments too. I don't see those guys getting nice kudos for stepping up and playing through massive injuries the way I see Zach getting pats on the back for a handful of nice throws.

Everyone just take a step back and ask yourself "are you judging everyone the same?". I'm pretty sure 90% of the QB in the league put up the game we saw yesterday from our QB and they are getting roasting up and down all day/night today. The PI throw that won us the game, was 3 yards short (thank god the DB never turned around because that would have been a 100% INT unless dude straight drop it).

I saw that too. I think they all meant to be funny. GW did go to bat for him in the interview. Maybe he’s just being a good teammate, but he seemed genuine

Best part about Rodgers going down, we get to see Zach enough so they know to not give him his 5th year. Be easy to dump him next year.
