Where would you like us to start?Do that 10 more times this year and we'd all be happy...
In all seriousness, I don't see how some are placing the entire blame for yesterday's offensive mess squarely on one guy's shoulders. Plenty of blame to go around IMHO.
I'm not placing all the blame on Wilson, just the parts that were his fault.Ok, I’m game.
Wilson: I saw a bad short pass to Hall that was reminiscent of last year, the ball to Lazard was low but catchable, saw other catchable balls dropped, saw him throw it away several times, and maybe two of the sacks were avoidable. See coaching below.
WRs: heard Ryan say several times that the WRs were not getting separation and there were a couple of balls that were catchable but dropped.
OL: 3rd and 4th string guys, nuff said.
Running game: as bad as Giants passing game, and a recipe for disaster in those conditions.
Coaching: little if any creativity in dealing with Winks tendencies to bring pressure early and often, and it’s not like it was a surprise. Why not use a downfield shot every now and then?
The weather: a couple of underthrows of open WRs and generally shit conditions where we needed to be able to run the ball and couldn’t.
That’s why I can’t place all of the blame on Wilson, just being fair.
31st or 32nd ranked QB his entire career. Still same ranking even after all this progress. Jordan Love is only one worse. Can't make completions then can't play QB. Yes he made a few throws yesterday in the clutch, but that is not sustainable. Can't score TD's in the red zone. All these drops might be catchable, but Zach also gets bailed out with great catches all the time. Not throwing INT's he has been better. How does anyone explain Mike White in same offense as Zach could move the offense? Even Flacco could move the offense. I think some fans want a FQB so bad they will look for the smallest of improvements. Here is a question, would fans still defend Wilson if he ended that game without winning and ended like it should have ended with his dumb sack?Do that 10 more times this year and we'd all be happy...

Don't forget, if the DB turns his head, that is a clean INT to end the game with a Loss.31st or 32nd ranked QB his entire career. Still same ranking even after all this progress. But we won! We are in the playoff hunt in November. We have been eliminated so many times by then. This could have been one of the worst losses in Jets history, but we won. The Jets need to be 6-3 by the time they play Buffalo and Miami. We won a game we didn't deserve to win. We play the Chargers who are very Jekyll and Hyde. Need this win.Bad game by Wilson. Inaccurate, bad decisions (especially in running backward and taking bad sacks).
Awful drops by skill guys. Bad line play (in part because, per usual, the Jets have about 36 OL who are hurt at any single time).
I can only half heartedly watch these games, but in my half hearted paying attention, I saw a fair number of passes that should have been caught. And after listening today to a bunch of game talk, no one was getting open eitherOk, I’m game.

In honesty, how many games have the jets ever won that they didn’t deserve to win?But we won! We are in the playoff hunt in November. We have been eliminated so many times by then. Niles Crane applied it to his father,Martin Crane to keep Daphne from leaving. To save you a trip to the Medical library, it is when someone causes accidents so that they can step in, save the day and look like a hero.
Zach Wilson's picture is there.
