"Monday Night Football" will head back to "The Big Apple" for the New York Jets (4-3) home contest against the Los Angeles Chargers (3-4).

After several close losses, the Chargers put together their best game of the season in a rout of the lowly-Chicago Bears. Despite the injury on his non-throwing hand, Justin Herbert was stellar and the defense had another game of causing havoc to snap a two-game losing skid.

It might've been the ugliest game of the week, but the Jets were able to claim the throne as New York's best team in a low-scoring overtime win over the Giants. Now there's a solid chance of making a playoff run as the Jets are on a three-game winning streak.

This should be win # 5 for the J-E-T-S but if they can’t score anymore than what they’ve done the past three weeks, they will lose this game! Let’s all hope for the best.

Have you seen a single thing to make you think they will start scoring?? Coach Rah Rah has said for weeks they are so close. I've watched a team get worse on offense over those weeks.

Maybe they should use the D-line on Offense and run that Eagles sneak every play. Can't be worse than that shit show they put on Sunday.

I agree we are going to have to push the ball down the field. Chargers roll up points and I'm sure our defense is going to put up a fight, but we will have to see how well we can hold against that offense.

Honestly, all the dump offs and screens limit exposure and limit turnovers, but it is also exposing a very limited offense and putting us into a ton of three and outs which isn't helping out defense.

Tired of hearing other teams went 78 yards (more or less) in 13 plays to score. We've been seeing the offense off the field in 3 downs.
I don't need acrobat catches. I'd settle for scoring with Zach throwing for small gains and some consistency.

We all watched Zach skip another pass to an open receiver in the Giants game. Weird how he can't complete those simple, short throws.

The New Jersey Jets are slight underdogs, according to this here in the morning line. We may get some early indication of the way the game will go through the first half three and out count. The number of lateral yards for Zack the Sack may also be used as a Ouija board planchette.

Either way, the game will, I hope, be worth watching.

I know there should be zero bounce passes but there was one that I saw in Giants game and recall few if any in the previous 6 games. I'm sure I'm missing some, but he has improved tremendously in that regard as compared to previous two years.

The problem we have is that opposing teams are going to crowd the line of scrimmage to stop the run, knowing that we can't pass well because the O-line will collapse anyway. We need to get outside. Things that occur to me are:
1) Try the Dickerson Ace set with two blocking TEs and Breece in the backfield.
2) Send Breece and Cook on together and have Breece split out wide before the snap. If the defense reacts to Breece, run Cook the other way.
3) With Breece in the backfield, run Izzy on the Jet Sweep.

If they are crowding the line that means Garrett or someone is one on one. They have to let Zach throw.
