Get some damn QUALITY back ups. Where is Saffold?? Dump Becton in a trade. Fire Keith Carter
TE. Keep Ruckert, keep Conklin. Dump Uzhomah
RB. Keep Breece and Izzy. Dump Cook, Draft another RB in later rounds
WR. Keep Wilson. Brownlee as a the 5th, Draft another in 3rd round. Lazard as a #4 FA a slot guy Keep Gipson
QB. Keep Rodgers I guess, Dump everyone else. Draft a developmental guy in in the 4th and bring in a QUALITY backup in FA
DL. Keep Q Williams, resign Huff, keep JJ, keep Jefferson find a stud run stopper, keep Thomas, keep McDonald, dump Lawson dump Woods
LB. Dump Mosely, Keep Quincy, FA an inside LB, keep Sherwood as a backup

At best this is a marginal playoff team… not a contender

Quick question. If Rodgers doesn’t like it or doesn’t want to learn a new system and retires, can his money owed be removed from the cap IF he is hired on in the new coaching staff? Or does the NFLPA forbid that ?

Overall outlook….. not great, but maybe competitive

I'm good with 99% of that as a solid plan. I would keep Tippman, Mitchell, Becton and AVT but I'm drafting both Tackle and Guard positions because all have been injury prone.

We definitely need a QB to develop and pray Rodgers can play a couple of healthy seasons. We need a #1a receiver, LB, and Safety are all positions of need.

Conklin and Ruckert should get the lions share of the snaps at TE and keep developing Kuntz on the PS.

He’s been our best tackle all season long. I’m not saying give him a superstar contract, but I don’t think they should cut him either. If it’s injuries that lead you to say that, you should be saying “Becton and AVT”

The reason JD was brought in was to "build" through the draft. The problem is he has had one good draft. Can't win unless you have good FA's which he has also sucked at. I know Jelly Donut is better than most Jets GM's, but to win you have to make a change when things aren't working and JD's record is abysmal. Not even as good as Maccagnan.

AVT should be played in the position he was drafted, guard. Resigning Becton shouldn't be a priority, the #1 draft pick should be left tackle. We have too many guys who deserve big deals in the future to spend big bucks on an injury-prone average tackle.

Let’s face it, QB is the position that matters the most and if any regime can get that right, they have a chance to succeed from that point on. So I agree with that statement the most. Get a quality vet back up and draft a developmental QB to sit a year or two and hopefully he turns out to be ALOT MORE THAN THAT!
