Lots of gum flapping that Rodgers suffered a high ankle sprain and not an Achilles. Have no idea cause I’m not a doctor. Would think the NFL would have some type of verification, and wouldn’t allow the Jets to pull some shit like that…. Misrepresenting an injury. But again, a return to practice and medical clearance in 79 days….. seem unheard of. Thoughts????

Saw the achilles snap. That doesn't happen with an ankle sprain. I'm confident it was an achilles. I'm not confident it is ready for contact.

I have no experience in Achilles injuries. I saw the calf quiver, but know nothing about it being associated with a snap. Maybe the guy is a quick healer….. Still don’t think he plays again this year

I think this is all about Rodgers ego. He likes the attention and being the fastest to come back from achilles surgery is a bigger deal than playing for the Jets this season.

That sounds like Rodgers. Or he could just love the Jets organization and his teammates so love that he’s coming back to play for them, NO MATTER WHAT! I doubt that seriously.

I think they need to sit him for the rest of the year, regardless to if he’s truly ready or why he wants to come back.

I'll say seeing 3-4 other achillies snap this season, it sure looked that way for Rodgers, not to mention he wouldn't have been up in a cast and having surgery for a high ankle sprain.

Kudos to his doctor and the new procedure that guy developed a few years ago. If anyone is a hero here, it is definitely him.

there is no way he had a full on tear, would of taken 14 to 16 weeks before a now 40 year old (today his birthday) to recover from this type injury.

Didn't even consider a full vs partial tear, lumped his injury with all other Achilles tears which I incorrectly assumed to be full.
