This may be the ugliest season ever for the Jets.....I mean Charles Dickens could not write this in a book. I am so down on this year that you could fire them all except the punter. The D with their big mouth will be heading for the hills as soon as this season is over. Rodgers should play this year if he can.....Because he may not be good anymore. Let him get hurt if this is what it takes to find out.

This will be, if I'm counting correctly, the 56th season since Mr. Joseph Namath took the New York Jets and their fans to the Promised Land.* During this period coaches and quarterbacks have come and gone, and the Jets remained, stubbornly, a team incapable of reaching the Super Bowl, much less winning it.

Based upon past history, which has become by now tradition, we can expect the New Jersey Jets, with or without Mr. Aaron Rodgers, to be, well, the Jets.

Abandon all hope, ye who enter The Meadowlands [or whatever they're calling it this year,]

* I was working for the owner, Mr. Leon Hess, at that time and had followed the team from the moment they swapped Titan jerseys for the Hess colors.

The folks who already know Rodgers is done are on the Packers' payroll. Give those people a raise for bamboozling JD and the other imbeciles for selling expired milk to the Jets. My hope is that Rodgers does come back but just gets blasted on every play.
