I hate the Patriots with an all out passion but I’m truly hoping they beat the Steelers. One of my best friends is a Steelers fan, he’s always talking shit and I don’t much care for the Steelers either. Plus, winning hopefully takes away from the chances of them getting the QB they want to draft.

I hope they win as well. I know Belichick wants to win as many meaningless games to stick it to Pats.

And me. If they win another they will drop below us when they win on the last day to keep the streak going. We could need to be drafting in the top five to get one of the stud tackles, the mocks suggest that a lot of teams are looking for O line help.
I hate rooting for the Pats.
I can’t root for them either but I gotta tell you that after this win tonight and after they beat us later this season, we might end up with the 2nd or 3rd pick in the draft, lol

So how did the Patriots' line look so much better than ours, even with Conor McDermott playing Left Tackle? It seemed that despite McDermott being pushed back the middle three didn't allow pressure up the middle, resulting in a pocket Zappe could throw from.
They also generated enough of a push to allow Zeke to provide a surprisingly effective rushing game.

The Pats pull a Jets and win a meaningless game after being out of the playoff race, only hurting their draft position.
A game, in the pure sense, is an activity engaged in for the pleasures derived from the game itself. The games played in the NFL have many other influences and forces driving them. These forces act upon the players, the coaches, the sales staff and the owners, to name some of those affected.
The NFL draft system was set up with the pure meaning of game as its basis. The worst team gets the best bite of the apple. Those in the middle get less of a mouthful than the bottom-dwellers. The best team, continuing the analogy, gets the stem..

Just saw that Flacco is starting for Cleveland today against the Jags. Lawrence set to start as well.
Week 17, the Flacco/Moore 'revenge game'. Well Prime are going to have to sell it somehow.
Kadarius Toney might be the dumbest human in the NFL.
Mahomes is becoming the next whiny Brady. Toney was offsides. He didn't complain when two calls saved the game for them vs the Jets. He and Mr. Pfizer can go fuck themselves.
We are now watching why the Eagles lost to the Jets. They are not that good.
Jets moved up two spots tonight. Giants and Tennessee won. Now the Dolphins can and will beat the crap out of us so that win yesterday barely cost us anything.
