I have no concrete evidence but I happen to believe that the biggest problem with this franchise is the Jets front office today and over the past years is strongly influenced in their decision making process by media and fan opinion.

Seriously. This fan base is turned around by every whim and doctrine. If a player doesn’t look like an all star in preseason he’s a bust . It is often said that NY fans are the most knowledgeable but in my opinion they are some of the worst because of the history of the team .
A vast majority of this fan base has to die off before this team has a chance to move forward. Simply put, you can’t bring your past to your future and expect to move forward.
