I Dislike Josh Allen

Last night after 5 years it dawned on me. It's not Josh Allen I disliked. A competitor to the end, a runner, a passer, a baller. It was that we passed him up for a QB who sees ghosts, a USC quarterback, feh! Six more who followed him while Josh remained under center for the Bills.
Know what, I was jealous and the onion within was peeled last night to conclude that.
I like Josh Allen!

The talking heads said 'he has a powerful arm but no accuracy and a running QB isn't what we need at all'

Funny reading that back now, especially after two QB's we have drafted in the top 3 have failed.

No, he would just self destruct faster. It seems that he makes as many "OH,NO" plays as he does "OH, WOW" plays. You never know what you're going to get. The fans and press would have ripped him apart by now if he played here.
He's a beer can at the TV waiting to happen.

Who know with the D man "Sam Darnold. He was making his first start of the season, filling in as the 49ers sought to keep Brock Purdy out of the firing line and injury-free ahead of the start of the playoffs in two weeks. He finished with 189 yards passing and 16 completions on 26 attempts plus a touchdown for a 96.5 quarterback rating in the 49ers’ 21-20 loss to the Rams."

Unfortunately, I desperately wanted the Jets to draft Sam Darnold that year. What the FUCK was I thinking? Not only did Darnold seem to be the safest QB pick that year but he seemed to be the most prepared with the most or close to the most potential. Man was wrong on all accounts. A lot of us were and that includes the Jets!

Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson were/are leaps and bounds ahead of the others. Baker Mayfield seems to be bouncing back to an above average career but that’s not really a #1 overall draft pick type player. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson definitely were and once again, the Jets and I made the wrong damn decision, AGAIN!

Josh made a couple of bad throws for INTs and lost a fumble last night. That makes 22 turnovers this year for Allen overall.

That said, he made an incredible long run late in the game for a crucial first down which pretty much iced the game for Buffalo. It's why you love the guy. He plowed through several defenders, then hurled himself forward for the necessary yardage. Just a phenomenal play from a QB who is that big and deceptively fast.

And he also threw an end zone interception directly at the defender when there wasn't a Buffalo player within five yards. He is the master of the WTF? A million dollar body with what sometimes looks like a 10 cent head.
I don't think he's consistent enough to lead a team to a championship, but he sure is fun to watch.

I'd love to see him run into Chris Collingsworth. Betcha CC would no doubt be in mid sentence.

When I travelled a lot, I could sometimes pick up the Cincy all-sports radio station and CC had a show.
It wasn't that bad. Don't know if he's still on it.
