Why is Jim Turner not in the Jets Ring of honor?

I mean leon Hess is in it...so guess what Woody will be up there someday too.

In then 68 Turner shattered the all- time points scored. In 68 & 69 he had the most points scored in the playoffs by any player on the Jets. I don't get it as he was a weapon. yes he was here for only seven seasons but no glory without him

He was the best kicker old style for a few years....no sb without him

We traded Turner for Denver's Howfield because the Jets wanted a kicker who could kick it out of the endzone. Howfield barely reached the endzone. While Turner led the league in pts scored
