What does your dream draft look like

In mine, we finish the draft with 3 or 4 offensive linemen, a NT and a free safety provided we sign a receiver in free agency.

LT, OG, RT, MLB, OLB. Sign the best FS and WR in FA. The problem we have is JD has a cheat sheet with the best Draft and FA prospects at the top of the page. He for some reason always turns it upside down.

1st round, 10th pick: Taliese Fuaga, OT from Oregon State
3rd round, 72nd pick: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR from Washington
4th round, 112th pick: James Williams, S from Miami (Fl)
4th round, 114th pick: Marcus Harris, DL3T from Auburn
6th round, 187th pick: Joe Milton III, QB from Tennessee
7th round, 255th pick: Jalen Sundell, OT from North Dakota State
7th round, 256th pick: Jarvis Brownlee Jr., CB from Louisville

this would be my ideal 2024 Draft getting that LT, a WR to pair with Garrett Wilson, a Safety to pair with Tony Adams, a 3T DT to pair with both Quinnen & Perrion. Get that QB to sit behind AR then pick up depth at OT and CB.

I expect us to move on cap saving moves either by trade or release. If we trade and get some more picks then we can maximize the potential this year.

Not bad G but don’t you think we could use another interior OLman

I'd sign up for that.

I love this, especially the QB in the 6th round. Maybe then hit that mystery franchise QB that so many other teams have been lucky enough to fall into. He’ll sit for a year or two behind Rodgers and be ready when his time comes.

Jalen Sundell entered the program as an offensive tackle. But he transitioned to center in 2020.

"I never thought I'd be playing center," he told KMA Land's Trevor Maeder. "Going through that (transition) was a good challenge. There's a lot more to think about when you're playing center. It's a different position. I got enough reps into where it became second nature. It was challenging."

Not only can he play center and we do need a backup long term but he is an interior lineman that has experience like Cade Mays for the Panthers capable of playing all inside or out. Expect Xavier Newman to compete for one Guard spot. We have Tippman starting Center and Wes is either going to start at Guard or be the backup Center for next year. Opens the door if AVT is healthy where does he play. Everyone has different ideas of where he fits. Then we come back to both Carter Warren and Max Mitchell where do they fit the best. Expect the Jets to sign a veteran right tackle in free agency. I would not be shocked if we also signed another veteran interior lineman on a short term deal.

So no, they will likely sign a couple free agent rookies to develop on the practice squad but need to draft one I just do not see Joe Douglas the former lineman spending too much thought here.

Because of the draft pick and the expectations, any QB the Jets draft in the first 3, maybe even 4 rounds will flop. That’s just the way it works with our team. They need to draft a QB in the 5th round or worse. Hopefully then they’ll find the right guy!

I think we should use all 7 picks on the best OTs we can get that can play either side and guard so hopefully injuries don't decimate the "O" line for the 3rd year in a row. Get anther receiver, QB, Safety and TE in free agency. Get rid of the deadwood, Brown, Lawson, Cobb, Tomlinson, Z. Wilson, McGovern, Uzomah, Siemian, etc so we can afford to keep Huff.
