To a degree. And fate is almost cruelly unfair to the Jets, as well.

But when even the good moves are either ripped or dismissed as being irrelevant, that's when Jets hate takes on a new, unfair level.

I think with each year of bad luck, the frustration level in the fan base grows. growe. And in truth, some of the inexplicable stuff that happens to this team is damn frustrating.

pretty sure most of us didn’t expect Rodgers to survive the season without injury, but 4 plays in? And to the same injury that took out Vinny, the last time we entered a season with SB aspirations?

how about the hype when we got Darnold and his first pass is a pick 6?

you just can’t help but laugh at the crap that happens here.

personally, I believe JD has tried to do the right thing, but the inexplicable things that happen to pretty much every o lineman makes it look like to some, that he doesn’t know what he’s doing

I agree. And Jets fans are understandably frustrated.

But it works against the team's interests. The impatience of the fan base is a destructive and impactful force when it comes to the team. Current regimes are held responsible for the sins of the past. That is what leads to the relative impatience and outspoken anger toward the team.

Your right Sack. Oh the jets are a great team. JD does a wonderful job with building a dominate Offensive line. We should sign him up for another 10 years, so another team does not swope in and steal him away. Right on Sack. We need to be positive. The worst teams below us when JD got here are going to the Playoffs or been there.

Now Zack, I have been positive since 1969. When do I deserve to be somewhat negative. Fifty four years (54). Some on this board are not that old. Tell me Sack when is it my time to be negative. And don't tell me to go to another team or somewhere else. I bleed Jet green. I am a die hard Jet fan and I have the RIGHT to be negative at times. I've heard the Hoopla when signing a new GM and I've heard the screams for their ousters when they falter. JD may be trying. If he was in High school or College. He would have gotten an "F" for failing.

Here's my issue. You hold the 54-year wait and the heaviness of that on every front office as soon as they take the job. Fans will say they want to win now because they've had to wait more than half a century. And that is true. But how often does a new regime go into any team and win immediately? It happens, but organizations with more sustained success tend to bring in people and be patient for them to build things the right way. Those franchises don't have the revolving doors that the Jets and other failed franchises have.
