I have an interesting question for all of us

My problem is I really don't like most of the players. So a win will be great & I may learn to love this team but it will as of today not be the same as the blues or 68 Jets. Now my 2008 Cardinals lost that SB because of fear. the fear that a losing team has going in to the final dance. If Weeb had coached that team they would have won. But all it takes is one missing link.

I watch football but it no longer dominates my existence like it did when I was younger. I have young men for sons and watching them lose their minds weekly during the football season has given me a different perspective.
I believe that if and it’s a big if, but if Rodgers stays healthy for the year the Jets will be a playoff team next year and probably the following year also . What I see down the road is the same situation the Saints are experiencing post Brees and the Patriots post Brady .

The Jets might have talent on the roster but what I don’t see presently is a succession plan post Rodgers . Cap-wise and Quarterback-wise. Everyone says the Rams are back with Mcvay, but what happens when Stafford retires. What’s your plan, because history has proven that without a quarterback great becomes someone else’s issue.

Great Post Tinnstar....I feel the same way. But as said football has moved on from me. It is for the younger folks. No more Larry wilsons, Dick Butkus Etc. When Taylor no not LT but Swift becomes bigger than the game it is not for me like it once was,

Doesn’t matter. I have 3 boys who are Fans of the Steelers, The Ravens and t the Packers. . It’s fun watching them as they watch Football on Sundays . I gain my enjoyment from being their Father not from what the Jets do or don’t do .
