He effing did it again. Nobody ever gets a good hit on him. It's like when a defensive player gets a bead on him, the guy forgets how to tackle. My feelings about him are my football equivalent of my Metliness toward Chipper Jones.

I have seen him make many throws that I'm amazed by. I saw Zach Wilson make one once too. My problem with Lamar is more often than not when you take away the threat of his legs his arm rarely bails him out. He is an incredible threat and it's hard to take away his legs, but I'm not impressed with playoff Lamar. There is no shame in losing to Mahomes who is a way better QB.

Good post. Totally agree that there is no shame in losing to Mahomes, an overall better QB. He is a late season and playoff master. Mahomes entire six year career has resulted in an AFCCG appearance or SB for the Chiefs. That's already an insane history. Gotta give Andy huge props as well. Just another master at dialing up new looks/wrinkles to his offense. And Kelce is another clutch player.

Right? Kelce is one of those TEs who knows how to find space. Having him on the field always gives Mahomes a reliable option. Great hands, too.

For that matter, other than Flowers who made a bone head move how many passes did the Ravens receivers catch on yesterday . It’s easy to blame Lamar because he didn’t put on his cape and save the Ravens yesterday . Even a player as great as Lamar Jackson can’t win against upper level talent by himself . What we say yesterday and throughout that kid’s short NFL career is what happens when he’s forced to try and win by himself. 1 kid against a team but it’s his fault because he doesn’t do it like you (whoever you might be) thinks he should .

I definitely don't blame Lamar because he didn't play bad. He just didn't make big plays like we expect him to. The gameplay sucked. Flowers is an idiot. The defense choked. Only a few can overcome that and it looks like Lamar isn't one of those QB's.
