Did not play a game since 2020;
A laundry list of injuries;
But the Jets...well let the Post finish...
"The team thought Cohen might be able to be one of their returners."

It's not only bad luck, Namath's deal with the devil,
it's plain illogical choices when you don't have true "football men" running things.

He tried. His body didn’t agree. Was a good returner in his day. The Jets gave him a shot. He retired and won’t cost the team any money.
Why are you trying to turn this into the Tiring narrative of the bad luck, bad team bad management?

The guy is 3 years removed from being a decent player. Doesn't affect this team at all. It would have been a nice story.

For starters, 1. I wish everyone the opportunity to gain employment be it on an athletic field or at a desk, or whatever the endeavor.
2. Football is a business, a violent business. Has not taken a snap since 2020. Unlike the accountant or songwriter, your tool box is your skill set, the continuity does not remain with age or inactivity.
3. I hope another team gives him a shot. My point wasn't Tarik's fault, if your post was directed towards me, simply pointing out sometimes JD makes decisions contrary to reality in professional football. My post was towards management, not Tarik.

I agree.....and disagree. There is really no way at this time of the year that JD giving him an opportunity could hurt the team.
