If this is true, it is daft. Why would you rush a fifth round draft pick when you have a future HOF guy holding the fort and you have no serious playoff shot?

It is the nearest thing we have to news about Travis. His surgery may not stand up to heavy work and his agent is 'optimistic' about 2025 rather than certain.

Amusingly the article has a picture of Travis Kelce.

And that's exactly the way the starting line-up should be determined. Also I am pretty sure I actually heard Glenn say that is the way he intends to do it. I hope I heard him correctly. If I wasn't so lazy I would re-listen to his pressers and find out for sure.

It sure would help the Jets situation if he could start at some point this season and show promise. I'm hoping Glenn can overcome the organizational retardation since he has experienced it first hand as a player.

Who knows what the Jets are going to do but from the outside looking in, they would do best by everyone, by building within the trenches first and foremost. The QB situation will figure out itself, if they do it right. Let Jordan Travis (if 100 healthy), Tyrod and another low cost veteran fight it out for the starting spot. If they feel the need, draft a quarterback in the fourth and fifth round and throw him in the mix as well.

Closest it came was with Vinny and Pennington. Both with solid o line play. Have not had it since Fitztragics first year.

Good question, you got me there. Wishful thinking I guess!

Let me correct or revise my response. A trust and belief in the new regime that they will make the right decisions, by building the team correctly and having legitimate competitions across the board. Bringing the best free agents and/or drafting the best QB, in the later rounds. Having a legit QB competition and may the best man win. This also includes Jordan Travis being apart of the mix.

I did like this guy when he said let's set the bar. best news out of the jets this year. I am so tired of this crap year after year. But at least we have our Bars
