Sorry in advance bigmoe .You can read this in stages..........but...........this Aaron Rogers debate has gone on long enough. Ist off......I actually heard Rogers say he was upset with Glenn because he let him travel on his own dime all the way to the facility just to tell him they were moving on from him when they could just as easily have done that with a phone call saving him the trip. Let's think about that for a moment. OK we thought about it......, and guess what ? We all know Roger's pretty well and I would be willing to bet that if Glenn had used the phone to cut ties Rogers would then be complaining that Glenn didn't give him the courtesy of doing it face to face. 2nd thing ........I read that Rogers claims that Glenn said he was concerned that every time he said something in a team meeting all the players would be looking back at Rogers to see if what he said was OK with him. Now I don't know if Rogers truly said that or not, but, I do believe that would be the case. That being said, just how can a coach, especially a new coach, possibly do a decent job of coaching if he has to get approval from his QB every step of the way ? I do appreciate how amazing Rogers, the QB, was for so many years but that guy is gone. All that's left is the player that wants everything his way even though his way doesn't work any more. That is really why he hasn't signed with a contending team yet. No team wants to deal with that situation. It's Steelers or retirement for him because all the other teams that might have been interested are tired of being held ransom by his personality.
