That remains to be seen. AVT is always a risk for injury. My concern is the Quality of the tackles. That’s cause without JD and Saleh here, the offensive line will no longer be riddled with injuries

SMDH!He tackles less than Deion and can't catch a ball other than that he is excellent.
I knowIf teams double Wilson, they won't be able to stuff the box, plus we have Reynolds who is better than Lazzard and a couple of true burners that are going to really stretch the field. We are fine at WR. Also have 2 good receiving TEs and Hall is a dangerous receiver out of the backfield. The biggest question on the offensive side is the O Line.
For some reason, fans are underrating the receiving corps and overrating the O line.

DB's are soon going to be looking at the same situation RB's are looking at now. It's ok for me to not like a signing dude. Sauce has had 1 more INT than both you and I in the last two years. $30M/year for 1 fuckin' INT. He is not worth the highest paid CB in the league and they can't even touch WR's which is all he does. It's a bad way to spend money with a salary cap IMO.
Big moe take the same bet the jets did.I know
I know
And we have no worries at QB anymore;
“The only QBs with a worse CPOE than Aaron Rodgers in 2024 were Anthony Richardson and Cooper Rush. Rodgers also ranked 19th in EPA/play, 24th in success rate, 28th in comp%, and 28th in avg. air yards. His 2024 performance was not good enough to justify the financial baggage.”

It's about damn time someone in the front office used their brain.Okay. The Jets are locking up their young guys instead of bitching about paying them.
Nice.
Agree. He would be the first to tell you he had a down year last season, he should have had more interceptions, he missed tackles he should have made. He owns up to these inadequacies and is working to improve here. However, in my opinion, his down year was still better than 95 % or more of the corners that played last season. He has earned the money and the Jets saved a shit load of money by doing it now instead of 2 years from now.He won rookie of the year for a reason and (if I’m correct), has been an All-Pro, at least two years that he has played. Seems like he’s doing more than enough at the position to be getting all this recognition!
Agreed, 1,000 percent!Agree. He would be the first to tell you he had a down year last season, he should have had more interceptions, he missed tackles he should have made. I just saw the new “hip tackle rule “ resulting i. A 15 yard penalty .Soon you won't be able to even tackle anymore.
"Consentual Tackling" coming to the NFL.I just saw the new “hip tackle rule “ resulting i. A 15 yard penalty .
Did you watch it ?
You can’t wrap your arms around a player and use your weight to bring down the ball carrier
I mean WTF is next
How are you going to bring the hut down
Then Sauce is going to be an All Pro in the Flag league.DB's are soon going to be looking at the same situation RB's are looking at now.
The rule changes are going to effect their value in the future.
Soon you won't be able to even tackle anymore.
The National Flag Football League is coming.
I would argue the opposite. With the rise in WR play and usage, Corners values will continue to rise.DB's are soon going to be looking at the same situation RB's are looking at now.

True. But the "rise" in WR play is a direct result of rule changes favoring Wideouts.I would argue the opposite. With the rise in WR play and usage, Corners values will continue to rise.
They are getting way to carried away with these SAFETY rules. It's a contact sport for crying out loud and these players know the risk. That's why they get paid the BIG BUCKS. I heard that the guy that proposed this rule is also lobbing to require that all countries at war use paint ball guns so maybe I expect too much from PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL. Wait til they try this shit with professional wrestling, Ha Ha Ha..........I just saw the new “hip tackle rule “ resulting i. A 15 yard penalty .

I don't think Breece wants out. I think the Jets are either going to trade Him or let him walk in FA. I think this is a coming trend you are going to see happen more and more.I’m wondering what they are going to do about Breece Hall? He’s the one I’m very skeptical about. Year one, he looked like he was going to be an ALL WORLD running back but he got hurt. Understandable and not his fault. Year two he fell off a bit but still showed flashes. You can tell he was still recovering and the Jets were limiting his using. So I gave him a pass. Year three is where he was disappointing to me.
Yes Aaron Rodgers and the OC was a definite issue but Breece got the ball quite a bit and barely did much with it. He definitely fell off a bit to me and I’m wondering are they going to feed him the rock and give him this year here to prove himself or move on from him? Breece is the player, I wouldn’t be too high on extending him for big money. Especially with the other two young RBs they have behind him! This will be interesting.
Breece might also want out because of the other young RBs that’s behind him.
Just like the giants letting go their Rb last year when they thought he was finishedI don't think Breece wants out. I think the Jets are either going to trade Him or let him walk in FA. I think this is a coming trend you are going to see happen more and more.
Teams seem content to stock up on young RBs in the draft and get as much production as they can from them and let them walk after their rookie deals are up.
And I could be talking out my butt. ....lol.
