He made 96.2 % of his kicks last season which put him the top half of all kickers last season which is better I think than the 82 % of years past so he is improving with age. Those guys we had competing for the job couldn't kick their way out of a wet paper bag. Hopefully the Jets will find that young super kicker before next season and lock him down. In the mean time we at least have a decent kicker.

I'm not entirely sure Pat is still alive. If so he'd be in his 70s but he was a pretty steady kicker in his day. I'd guess his career percentage was in the high 90 % range.
