Fields couldn't even handle running. How is he going to handle pads?

Quinnen out 2 weeks with a strained calf. This should end well.
Think positive. This is two weeks that he can't pick up a serious injury, and it is more reps for guys like Cowart that we need to step up into the other DT spot.

Short article. Actually much more positive than negative....
As noted by Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, not all of Fields’ struggles were down to him in the team’s third padded practice of the day. There were tight windows to throw though and some drops on catchable passes by Jets receivers.
In fact, Fields closed out each of the past two practices with strong finishes, hitting Mason Taylor on touchdowns both times, after having less than stellar results up to that point.
Antwan Staley of the New York Daily News told his followers on x that Fields could have had a couple of interceptions if not dropped by the defense, but also mentioned the touchdown strike to Taylor to close out the day.
I bet Sauce dropped one.
Glenn is going to be a good one. Just hope it's with the Jets.
