Three claimed off waivers

The Jets have claimed Jelani Woods TE from Indianapolis, Esa Pole OT from KC, and Cam Jones LB from KC. Did I read a rule that anyone claimed off waivers has to be part of the 53? If so it is goodbye to Ruckert. Not sure who would make way for the other two as we are thin at OT and LB.
