What he’s saying makes sense. Doesn’t mean it will all go down like that but it makes 100% sense. You would know that if you were a real Jets fan. Go watch and root for the Cowboys and whatever hockey team you like.
Because I don't listen to some kid in his 20's on YouTube about the Jets makes me not a fan? Being a fan means I get to bitch and complain about whatever I want. I'm not obligated to blindly support this shitty franchise. Win and I don't complain. Lose and I do. It's pretty simple. I don't call you a homer for rooting for some of the trash Woody has put together. I do think rooting for this team will ruin your outlook on life. I choose to not do that anymore.
What you’re talking about is ridiculous. 20-years old or not, what he’s saying makes sense and it’s spot on. It’s what we all are saying or thinking. So what’s the problem with him saying it? He’s a die-hard fan and knows this team, no matter what his age is. Because he’s 20-years old he can’t have a smart and objective opinion on the team. Come on man, you’re better than that.
Besides that, the team has made dumb decision after dumb decision but they are always trying to win. The problem with Woody is he doesn’t have any patience and he gets involved too much but he does want to win. He has no problem paying players or making trades or signing free agents. Some teams do have issues with it like the Cowboys or the Bengals. At least that’s not our issue.
So you not rooting for the team is your choose don’t shit on the team and the games haven’t even started yet. Damn!
He’s not, not rooting for the team. He’s just trying to stop the losing from having a negative affect on his life
I used to be sick all week after a Jet loss. After enough years, a Jet loss just becomes a normal part of life.

I’m a fanatic fan also who used to scream at the TV and be upset, sore throat and headaches after the game. Also damn near sick and frustrated all week after losses. I don’t stress the games like that either any more with so much expectations but I do have faith in the team every year until they give me reason not to.
That usually happens after about 5-6 games. Maybe even half the season. You and TCT are just the most pessimistic fans I believe I’ve ever come across and it’s frustrating as shit. TCT is even condescending with it and that’s even more annoying but whatever. Y’all do you and I’ll do me and we’ll just leave it at that!
Correct. Everyone should be allowed to deal with it in their own way and if someone else has a different way to deal, no problem.
Rather than argue, I find it better to just let posts that I don’t agree with go in one ear and out the other. We all want the same thing here. No point in arguing amongst ourselves. Playful banter is another story

I'm looking forward to seeing the team get competitive so I can go back to laughing at the portion of the fan base who blame the refs for every penalty , score allowed and of course every loss....
