Jets WR issue(s)

I expect the worst and hope for the best. I just hope they are just competitive at this point.

My feelings exactly......for the last 20 yrs.
Making that my mantra probably saved my marriage. Lol. Hey I even sit down while watching the Games. With the sound off of course. The Wife still can't understand how I watch the game with no sound. I just tell her if I wanted to hear from an A-hole I would have farted.

Fortunately the season is just days away.
We will see soon enough what this new staff and roster will produce. Could go winless or make a playoff push. Im more hopeful that they produce a winning record than I have been since fat Rex got skinny!!!
But it's just blind faith at this point.

We can be confident that the defense will be solid, as there is not as much unknown there as with the offense. We know that the offense will be run-based and we know that players have been selected to fit the plan rather than picking up anybody and figuring out how to use them later. But we haven't seen the full range of the offense yet and we don't know how it will measure up to NFL defenses. Perhaps the O-line will open holes and our RBs will gash the defense, setting up easy passes for Fields. Or perhaps our RBs will be stoned at the LOS without impacting the opposing pass rush, forcing desperate chucks that are intercepted.

We all know it's all speculation until We see it on the Field. I do think they are going to beat Errin and the Steelers. Rodgers is already saying don't be surprised if they start slow. I'd be surprised if they let another year older and slower Rodgers beat them. I think the D will eat em up.

I’m watching this GB vs. Washington game and the Packers have a plethora of young and good WR. Jets need to make a trade for one. None of them are over the age of 26.

I think we will see Smith and Taylor more each weekend, and if they are what FO hoped we might be ok. These guys coupled with the running game and the tier 2 WR's we already have, should be enough this year. I just don't think we are in a position or at the competitive level to mortgage the future this year.

Jets have ALOT of issues but one of the most glaring and biggest is the WR issue. These past 3 games/3 losses has proven that! Besides GW, where else are they supposed to go. Not having a solid #2 WR has hurt this team greatly.

One of the reasons I never agreed with the Jets allowing Davante Adams to walk out the door. I guess he wanted to leave regardless because of all that was happening with his butt buddy but do we really know that, for a fact?

The GM and this coaching staff has dropped the ball BIGTIME on that. If you’re not going to trade or sign anyone worth while at this point, bring up the younger guys on the practice squad and see what they got. At this point, why the fuck not!
