This game deserves its own thread. Never now if a game will live up to its hype, but these are 2 damn good teams that the jets will never be until they’re hire a Shaman to remove the curse
You could regret those words. Better still, Elijah Moore now plays for the Bills so we have the potential for another crummy revenge game narrative.Bills defense sucks. Next week is not a gimme for the Bills.
Both of those defenses were playing against probably the 2 best offensesBoth of these defenses look worse than the Jets.
Well from others here we were playing vs one of the best QB'sBoth of those defenses were playing against probably the 2 best offenses
I won't regret those words because if they pound the Jets it's what I expected. If the Jets can play like yesterday the majority of the time this year then it will be a good year. Hopefully they will figure out ways to win games like yesterday, but like I said many times yesterday it took a low probability 60 yard FG to beat the Jets. Many complained about the defense, but on that last drive it took a miracle bounce. The defense did their job and didn't let them get inside their 40. That wins 95% of the time. IMO, I saw a different team. Yes with some of the same ole Jets results. I guess because I have zero expectations and all I wanted from this year was competitive football, yesterday was a great game. Probably the most entertaining game in 15 years. The Jets went toe to toe with a playoff team with the "messiah of QB's" for the whole game. Crazy you bring up Elijah Moore. He has been gone for many years and hasn't done a single thing in the NFL since leaving. I didn't even know he played for the Bills. Why would I? He had 1 catch and 3 yards. You could regret those words. Better still, Elijah Moore now plays for the Bills so we have the potential for another crummy revenge game narrative.
Let’s see what happens when they’ve played hard for 5 games and haven’t won any. Or when the offense sucks for a few games and the defense only gives up10 points a game but they still loseI won't regret those words because if they pound the Jets it's what I expected. I'm not on the bandwagon, but they didn't embarrass me yesterday so thats a step from the bottom.
True, we were, but at this stage in his career, he is not Allen or Lamar, nor does he have the team around him that they doWell from others here we were playing vs one of the best QB's
Oh I agree let's wait and see. I'm not sure many here feel that way.Let’s see what happens when they’ve played hard for 5 games and haven’t won any. Or when the offense sucks for a few games and the defense only gives up10 points a game but they still lose
this isn’t the first time they’ve come out trying in week one. In fact, they generally come out fired up week 1. Most teams do, it’s a new season with new hopes, and for the jets every 4 years, a new regime too.
once, just once, I want them to win the first game of a new regime while looking good. You can’t learn to win without winning
…and playing hard in a losing effort eventually gets tiresome and they give up. How many times have we seen that?
yes, they played better than expected yesterday, but they lost another game in a way that only the jets can do. Until they win those games, nothing has changed
and I like Aaron Glenn. He seems to have a good plan. Just sad that they again didn’t win a game that they had won
and we all saw it coming When they were up in the second half. Bigmoe pointed it out and me, and maybe others agreed
they are the same old until they’re not. …and every single one of us hopes they’re not whether we are high on yesterdays lose or not
I watched every play of last nights game. I think Breece can run all over the Bills. We might not stop Allen, but every game is different. Maybe the Bills learn to tackle. Maybe the Jets learn to cover.True, we were, but at this stage in his career, he is not Allen or Lamar, nor does he have the team around him that they do
Jets have a shot here. If the offense can continue to do what they did this past Sunday, they have a shot. Defense needs to step up and small hands needs to be sent to the practice squad or cut.I watched every play of last nights game. I think Breece can run all over the Bills. I can agreeJets have a shot here. I
