IMO, the problem with this is unless Justin Fields just absolutely flops the entire season, the Jets will most likely not draft a QB in the first round. AG wants Justin to be his guy. That might be a stupid decision but coaching against him for his first four years and Justin only being 26-years old, I believe AG wants Justin to succeed and won’t give up on him so easily.
So far he looks exactly like he has for 4 years. Some good and lots of bad. There is no way I don't draft a QB unless Fields goes 14-3.

Which QB do you think we should draft in the first round? There's a lot more wrong with this team than just a QB. Tyrod was OK yesterday but he didn't have the supporting cast or an average defense. Remember Errin' is throwing to D J Metcalf. As @butterscotch said, our 'star' GW would be a #2 on most other teams where they have receivers laying out for 40 yard fingertip catches.

We all want Fields to be the guy but if he isn't I trust AG to move on. We have an anemic rushing attack, below-average receivers, a deteriorating O line and a rookie OC, Mahomes would struggle with that hand.
Jets need to draft the right QB. If that is even possible.
