The Jets have hit a new low and how is that possible, when it comes to the Jets anything is! Losing the game is bad enough but it’s how they did really. The decision they made were mind boggling. WTF was the decision they made before the half time?

Why the fake punt, just to run the run ball the next play and let the clock run out after? No pushing the ball down the field with any type of urgency. Not even a Hail Mary pass at the end of the half for a possible pass interference call!

Man, this team just finds ways to fuck you up even more, every year and I was not going to subject my wife to that shit.

The worst play was the last one, where it was our last chance and Fields pulls the pass back and takes the sack. You have to know the situation, does Engstrand have to remind him over the radio when sending in the play?

But the thing to remember about the Jets is there is no such thing as incremental improvement, if a player or unit seems to have a better game it is only to frustrate you when they revert to dogshit the following week.

Though frustrated as we are four of the losses were by less than one score (with the other two being blowouts). It would take very little to be (say) 2-4. I think that not going after a replacement guard after the AVT injury was a mistake as playing our center at guard and our backup at center clearly isn't a 17 game proposition. Glenn has made some mistakes (committing to Fields immediately after the game rather than taking time to think about it, using Braelon to return kicks etc.) but he is a rookie and can't be judged yet. Unlike @butterscotch I don't think it was a no-brainer to attempt a kick outside of Folk's range, even if we made it there was time to watch Denver march down the field and set up the walk-off. If we converted the 4th and 7 we could have set up our own makeable walk-off attempt. Moggy gave Sherwood too much money but a number of his acquisitions have been good, even Stephens has improved to 'average'.

After watching Fields all game long, there was a way better chance that Folk makes that kick vs Fields getting a 1st down when his average yards per play was 3-4 yards.

Eventually I will but I wanted it to be my team. Maybe sometime next year I’ll take her to a Ravens, Panthers or Commanders game. There no stake or hurt in any of that. Just enjoying the game for what it is.

Nah, I’ll never root for another team or even wear another teams gear. That there will absolutely never happen sir! I’ll go and watch other teams play just to enjoy the game but there’s nothing more to it than that.
