We have so many holes. I'm not going to be devastated if the Jets pass on QB next year and use those assets to get 2-3 impact players. They will be in position for s QB in 2027. There is no sure thing QB next year and definitely not one worth 3-4 1st round picks. .

I watched bits and pieces of the game and it was a defensive struggle. Mendoza played his part and that is impressive. Question is can he do it in the playoffs? He will most likely see OSU again, will he be able to beat them again!

I see you are warming to the idea. The only other thing I can think of is bringing back Geno when the Faiders release him.

Mendoza is the only guy I've seen who could start in the NFL next year, Moore and Simpson don't impress me. He will make a fine FQB for the Saints.

Good grief I am just watching Mendoza's post-match interview. Why do American athletes always attribute any success they have to 'God'? You never see a player miss a field goal and point downwards towards the other guy.

Better QB's in '27 draft. Can draft a later round project if you want that doesn't cost any extra assets or grab Moore/Simpson if available. Fill the massive holes on this team and have it ready for a QB. I'm not doing a Dikta style trade for Mendoza.

But the plan is for us to be better next year, perhaps 7-10 or 8-9, so the only thing we can do is go with a middling guy like Mac Jones whilst panning for gold among the lesser-rated QBs. Remember Brady wasn't a first round pick.

Speaking of he Colts, they rolled the dice and look to be big losers in the trade for sauce. Not because Sauce isn't any good but he got hurt and now Jones looks like an achilles victim. Hopefully, they now lose out and their pick is worth a middle of the 1st round pick.
