How did we start the year with a starting QB that gets thrown off every team in the last five years. How do we have a backup that can't stay of the field over the last dozen years. What does this tell you....

I didn’t see the game but I’ve watched this video and this is supposed to be every one of Cooks throws. I’m counting about 10-15 legit drops at least. WTF!
Not saying that he can be the answer for us but when you got playmakers like this letting you down, what chance do you truly have to succeed at all?

There were issues with timing and velocity as well as anticipation, but with no reps with those receivers it was inevitable.
Let's see what he can do with reps and if he improves over the remainder of the season.

He sounded a lot better than Zach Wilson ever did at any point in his career at the press conference. With 1st team reps, he will get a chance to learn a lot.

My opinion.............make Cook the starter for the rest of the season and see what he's got. We can be pretty certain that Taylor and Fields are not going to be on this team next season,...... so..... play the guy that might be and give him a chance to earn or lose a spot on the roster and play to win or you won't really know which players to keep and which players to dump. I might add also...........that most of the fault in Cooks 1st ever NFL game, besides it being his 1st ever NFL game, were the fault of his receivers.
