I'd say yes. We know Woody likes to make the big splash to sell tickets.
Rumors now are that he stays and Lamar gets moved
Just don't move Lamar to the Jets.
I'd jump on it if Lamar was available, depending on the cost. If they do move him, every QB needy team will be making offers and some with QBs they like would also be making offers. He is a top tier QB. I'd love to know your reasoning.
Always injured is just one reason. Not major injuries. Just dinged up it seems.
If the Ravens let him go it's because they are tired of his shit.
Injury concerns and Salary would be my concerns. I believe he has 2 years left on his contact.(Ravens would have to eat some of it) I still would jump on him. Let the new QB sit behind him in 27. He would be the best QB option available by far.
It would be a financial decision if they let him go.
They need to rebuild and need to shed cap space.
A recent article said he sleeps in meetings and someone mentioned the last time he was trying to negotiate he missed weekly practices. Same thing has happened for last 2 months. I don't know I just see a skinny QB breaking down. Not worth the risk or any draft capital IMO. I've also thought he was a QB that relied on his athleticism which doesn't last forever. When he gets to the playoffs and when DC's change how they play, he has never payed very well. That would seem to me that his preparation is lacking maybe from the sleeping in meetings and video game playing.
That article was debunked ant the coaching staff and teammates have all said that the article was completely false. He has had a rough season, but is one season away from a career year. I understand the injury concerns,
But the other bullshit is just that. You don't become the NFLs all time QB rushing leader and all time passer rating leader through lack of preparation.

Or...where there is smoke there is fire. If I'm going to trade for an always injured QB, give me Joe Burrow who can throw the ball from the pocket and doesn't need his legs. As Lamar's legs start to go, so will his production and I believe we are seeing the breakdown of his body. You have to go all in with Lamar. He will get killed with the Jets.
I think it's the opposite. You have to go all in on Burrow. He's gonna cost multiple first round picks and you need a much better offense around him to succeed. He is pretty much confined to the pocket.
Lamar is a more efficient passer, it's just that the Ravens have prioritized his.rushing ability. Last years 41 TDs with just 4 interceptions prove his passing abilities, and that came with near 1000 yards rushing . plus Burrow is considering retiring
He has had Derrick Henry and a very good TE. The Jets will have Breece Hall who was never the same after rookie year and a 2nd year meh TE so far. Wait they did resign Ruckert. Nevermind. The Jets need every single draft pick they have to completely rebuild this team. They are a zero win team masquerading as a 3 win team. The Jets will still have a shitty HC/staff and Lamar was graced with a really good one. Burrow would never waive his no trade clause and leave those WR's to go to a worse organization. The Ravens IMO would dump Lamar in a heartbeat. That says something to me.

Lamar didn't have Henry during his (Lamar's) better years. Mason Taylor is a 1st year meh TE. Ruckert's improvement has been one of the few positives this year. Breece is an average RB on another team, just as Garrett is a WR2 elsewhere.

Lamar Jackson would not be a good fit imo.
He is a talented QB with a lot of mileage on his frame.
With a weak coaching staff that He may not respect and a lot of questions at WR,RB,and elsewhere it could be a recipe for disaster.
He is accustomed to Winning too.
Not something We do a lot of around here.
No shortcuts.
Always blows up in their faces.

With a weak coaching staff that He may not respect and a lot of questions at WR,RB,and elsewhere it could be a recipe for disaster.
