Just another coach that Rodgers got fired.
Gotta love these teams who have the luxury of getting rid of the HC because they 'only' won eight games or 'only' reached the first round of the playoffs. Ladeez and gennulmen, we have a new favorite landing zone for John Harbaugh.Just another coach that Rodgers got fired.
Yup, two of the better coaches out there and a ton of vacancies at more desirable franchises than the Jets,Two of the better coaches of the last two decades out there and Woody will keep Glenn. Then he will fire him next year and hire another first year DC.
It’s up fathomable to be the coaches that get fired .Two of the better coaches of the last two decades out there and Woody will keep Glenn. Then he will fire him next year and hire another first year DC.
Unless he has stated otherwise I think Tomlin may go the TV way.Two of the better coaches of the last two decades out there and Woody will keep Glenn. Then he will fire him next year and hire another first year DC.
Become comical? It’s up fathomable to be the coaches that get fired .
Jet fans are saying ( me too) this is probably the worst season they seen .
We’ve hit historic lows and broken records that can’t be broken .
Yet the jets are keeping this coach .
It’s become comical
The Jets don't have a realistic chance at the top tier coaches available. Not with openings like the Ravens and Steelers. Hell Philly and Green Bay may open up. Expecting the top candidates to essentially swap teams leaving the lesser teams like Browns, Giants etc to get the rejects/ coordinators turned first time HCs. Woody would be foolish to fire Glenn and wing up shut out and left looking for another first time HCSirianni could be next.
They already fired the OC.
Amazing the amount of HC experience available on the market.
You would think a rudderless Team would welcome the chance to have an opportunity to avail themselves of such knowledge.
What say you Mr Johnson?
We know the Jets won't go after a top candidate. We know the Jets are a horrible organization that nobody wants to play or coach for. It just sucks that there is about zero hope right now. Not sure when or if it will ever improve. Next year is another wasted year and outside of this forum I don't get any enjoyment from the Jets. Not caring about the Jets has brought me the most enjoyment I've had in years. The Jets don't have a realistic chance at the top tier coaches available. Not with openings like the Ravens and Steelers. Best thing Woody can do is nothing for next season. Let Glenn sink or swim. If he shits himself, trade for Tomlin The desired jobs open this year will be filled and the Jets will still have a haul of draft pics to entice him. Especially with the QB class coming out
Yeah, doing nothing is the best thing that Woody has ever done. The Jets don't have a realistic chance at the top tier coaches available. Not with openings like the Ravens and Steelers. How can they trade for Tomlin when he is no longer an HC?The Jets don't have a realistic chance at the top tier coaches available. Not with openings like the Ravens and Steelers. Oh how I hope soGiants etc to get the rejects
That’s only if I figure out to logout and sign in ?Next year is another wasted year and outside of this forum
Too longHow can they trade for Tomlin when he is no longer an HC?
To say the Jets are not attractive to a veteran Coach may or not be true.
With a slew of draft picks and basically a blank slate to make it over in their image will appeal to some of the candidates.
Maybe Woody is less hands on with a veteran experienced HC. Maybe not.
As I said, Sirrianni AND Lafeur maybe next to go.
2 guys who have developed young QBs into NFL QBs in Philly and Green Bay. Philly is less forgiving than NY and GB is basically the Mecca of professional football so you know they can handle the pressure.
Glenn is not a guy who can learn on the fly. At least He hasn't shown that he can based his lack of in game adjustments.
What does it profit the Jets to keep Glenn for another Season and then fire him when anyone can see He is in over his head?
A great coordinator does not make a great HC. Saleh, Schwartz just to name a few.
Look at NE. Kills me to say it but they hired a guy and saw He wasn't ready like Glenn is not and they made the move when a veteran HC became available.
The Jets should follow suit and at least take a look. Especially if Sirirrani or Lafleur become free agents.
You'd have to be out of your mind to keep Glenn if one of those Franchise Cornerstone HC'S became available and was interested.
Yeah. I kinda went off on a tangent. Lol.Too long
Tomlin is under contract with the Steelers for 2 more seasons. They own his rights . If he wants to coach again, the team he goes to will have to negotiate a trade with the Steelers before they can sign him.How can they trade for Tomlin when he is no longer an HC?
