Apparently AVT and Simpson are both free agents and this Youtube blog guy is telling me we have to pick between them. He would release Simpson and plug in AVT at left guard (for as long as that lasts). Despite being very durable Simpson has 'only' provided average play (we dream of average play from most positions on the roster). I would sign both of them to one year deals AND draft a young guy in the second, so we can put Tippmann back at center and Myers on the bench. If we are going to sign a veteran QB on the downslope of his career we need solid protection in front of him, and a strong rushing game so we are not leaning on him.
