Latest Tankathon update sees Chambliss disappearing into the third round, out of our reach. So the projected draft now consists of a boatload of defensive players and a WR from Louisville. If that were to come to fruition, pessimism about next season would be totally justified.
Draft offense this year with a few defensive players sprinkled in. Draft Allar later. Then draft another QB next year with more defense.
I'm guessing that Mouges draft this year will be defense heavy. If they find someone to fill the DC position they will likely have to give him some players that give him a chance to be successful. I think that would be part of the agreement. While the offense didn't play well the main reason for that was pooooor QB play. That they will fix. or at least try to. Just my gut feeling.......

I didn't want him or Moore. Both will struggle greatly against NFL caliber defenses. In fact Mendoza just showed that in his championship game. I don't think he threw a single passing touch down in that game. I'd rather draft the defensive end that tormented him during that game.
