I read the same thing. It's that time of year again. Bullshit artist with blogs trying to get clicks. I wouldn't be surprised if someone within the Jet's organization leaked false info to a self proclaimed insider to derail his rep. I've always said in the past and I still say it..........don't believe anything you read. Believe it when you see it announced on the Jets web site. There are a couple of sports reporters that I trust but not very many.

While he does have considerable history as a QB coach. The development of a QB falls primary on the QB coaches shoulders.
It like when fans want a HC because he developed a QB at a former stop. The HC does not work with the players.
You also have to factor in the QBs he had . You don't develop veteran QBs.
Fields is a glorified RB, Taylor is a oft injured vet at the end of his career .
Your a college coach, o line right?
How much time does your HC spend teaching your O lineman techniques. How many hours a day does he spend developing your QB? Does he teach the WRs routes?
He did a great job with 1 legit player and still did a great job when the 1 star went on IR.

I didn't coach college. I played OL in college, coached HS and prep school.

I don't know why I thought you were coaching college but you got my point. HCs have no significant 1 on 1 time with players.
I agree London was a bad hire, terrible in fact.
I prefer position coaches who have played the position.
I personally would reach out to guys like Rivers, Luck, McCown, Pennington. Ryan. It would be great to get a guy like that to mentor and develop a young QB most have probably made too much money to be interested or would expect to be immediately hired as OC if not HC
