To be honest, I could care less. If he did it, he deserves to serve time like anyone would deserve time. He wasn’t going to do much of anything for the team anyway, IMO.
I’m guessing he would have held down the fort for about 6-7 games. While the rookie sat and learned but the Jets would have only won 1-2 games (if they were lucky) anyway. So what do the Jets do now, who knows. Even if he doesn’t get any jail time and he most likely won’t, he’ll get suspended for about 4-6 games.

He won't be suspended, league really has nothing to investigate. Video is very clear. She's the aggressor. Geno kept walking away. Cops investigated, determined Geno did nothing to her. She is currently being investigated. As far as last stint. He did nothing wrong. He told IK he had prior commitments but would try to stop by if he could. IK snuck up and sucker punched him. And no, he didn't get knocked out, didn't even stumble. Every player who witnessed it said the same, and said they witnessed the conversation regarding Smith not being able to commit to attending his camp. The rookie was drafted to become a future back up. There are no plans for him to become the starter. This year or next. It's going to take multiple injuries for him to see the field.

I didn’t see the video, I will admit and I had no interest really! To be honest, I have no trust and/or faith in Geno to help this team in anyway. So it really doesn’t matter if he’s available to play a game for us or not.
Yes I know, Geno could bye us the time needed for the rookie to be ready. So he doesn’t have to be rushed. I get that but I believe the rookie will be playing this year anyway for at least 6-8 games.
So if Geno was only going to win us about 2 games anyway, then the Jets could have done that with any of those other garbage QBs they have on the roster, until the rookie was ready to play.
It is pretty funny for the Jets to sign a QB to be the starter that sucked while he was here over a decade ago and sucked in his last season in the NFL. Even funnier is him getting punched in the jaw was the best thing for the Jets then and now he is involved in some cray cray relationship. Only the Jets!!
I don't see Geno as anything more than a bridge QB who can give competent play with a good offense. But that is more than we have had in years.
No supplemental draft this year.
