I would give a shit as he is our best option for a competitive offense. I'm tired of the 'tanking for Tua' attitude amongst some fans. We finally have a good OL and impact skill players, that need some stability at the QB position to take the next step forward. I think that Geno gives us that and allows for some development by Clubnik.

My guess is that Geno is going to be closer to the surprise he turned out to be in SEATT. He's going to have weapons, protection, and a trio of backs to give him lots of 3rd and manageable. Betting on DLine to have a pulse stopping the run this year, and that's critical for a team's offense. the longer our D is on the bench, the more our O will be running plays. GS is competent. the 25 Vegas debacle is what happens when you have a QB behind trash. no weaponry, and asked to outscore opposition because your D can't stop anyone. He's our guy this year. Got my support until we are eliminated from the playoffs.

Ahen we drafted him, I wasn't happy. When Fitz got the gig and turned in one of the best statistical seasons in NYJ history, I was happy he was gone to open that door. But I am happy he's back this year on an extremely team friendly deal to give us a pulse on
offense.
