I can see by responses there’s really absolutely zero excitement for this team this year .

Not thinking that, Klubnik will start from game 1. But if he can play from about game 6, at worst and play the rest of the season and show and prove that he can be our guy, that would be the ultimate. Imagine the Jets being able to use all those upcoming draft picks over the next year and many more on the BPA or a specific need that isn’t a QB. What a true gift from God that would be.

Now I’m not expecting the Jets to win anymore than about 5-7 games this year with either QB. I wouldn’t think any of us are but if the Jets can do that with Klubnik and he plays above average at the least. There shouldn’t be a need to look at drafting another QB next year, I would think! Klubnik has a chance here to show and prove he can be the guy.

It’s all here in front of him. Only QB in front of him is Geno and we can’t count on him, AT ALL! Geno will either get hurt, as he always does by mid-season. If not sooner or he will flame out and flop and the Jets will have to go to Klubnik. Last would be some type of personal or legal shit that might side line him. I only hope he’s ready because he will get a chance to play this year. GUARANTEED!!!

You're not crazy, bro!!!. Once upon a time, a kid from MI who was asked to compete against a proven starter good enough to play in a SB.
that kid dinked and dunked his way into getting so many first downs the HC couldn't take him out. He didn't want to burn s timeout, and the kid kept drives going. A similar story happened when a kid from Miami of OH did something similar in PITT. the major difference was Tommy Maddox was no Drew Bledsoe. If you watch CK's highlights from Clem, you won't see a ton of spectacular catches; his passes were too precise to warrant highlight reel grabs. Meaning, CK could most certainly dink & dunk first down gimmee's like Ben & Brady did until the game slowed down for them to become the legends they became. In fact, if CK gets the second team moving in a good way in practice, I'd be on board to see a D
& D show green & white style. I got snookered by this team again. Full On #1 Sucker, but I think we're as loaded as the 09 and 10 teams except the DB domination is replaced by Big Fatty run stuffer domination. Long way to get to the fact I love your analysis of using our draft capital on BPA over and over again. No bro, you might be a Nole, but this Gator likes your thoughts!!!! until the Sat after thanksgiving :eyebrows: :burp:

sorry to interrupt the SOJ mood, but we got a '98 and '15 vibe 'round here too. Takes some wishful thinking and maybe some dain bramage, but look closely... similarities are there to be found!
