They looked like a competent offense on that 1st drive. Dare I say thats the best they will look all season.

Truthfully I would've liked to have seen a little more of the 1st team Offense but I get it. I really thought Cook in his limited time made the most of it. I wasn't impressed with Zappe at all and the defense looked good. All in all not a bad pre-season performance.

I didn’t get a chance to watch the game yet, but I recorded it and from what I’m hearing, Klubnik stats were decent for the game, but it wasn’t necessarily an impressive showing for him. More of just a safe performance for a lack of words. Which isn’t bad at all either. Defense was light out and Bailey showed out, for the little bit of time he was out there. He’s a monster!

It's been all about context so far this preseason - especially when it comes to Klubnik....looked good with 1st team, so-so with backups. Btw the backup OL is one big swinging gate in protection. Still want to see the 1st team handle stunts/blitzes better in 2026 before I throw flowers at them. It has been quiet and I think that starts at the top - namely the GM who has really turned the front office around. Still want to see hiom find gems in later rounds of draft, but he made astute trades and they've been able to do ok bringing in FAs off the street.
Biggest thing so far is he found a muzzle that fits Woody.
just let them play and figure things out....I think we will have more fun than we've had for a while.
