It's perfect in theory. This was a bad way to lose. It was a very Jetsy way to lose. We have seen hundreds of these losses. They need to learn how to win games like this and the leaders didn't come through...again!!

But aren't all close Jets losses going to be that way? Well, either close "Jetsy" losses, or getting blown out, which is also Jetsy. And winning only hurts the draft capital.

So either win and hurt the draft, play well and lose a close heartbreaker, or get blown out and play horribly. There are no good outcomes.

A good win would have been winning this game. Winning last week vs the worst team in the NFL means nothing. It's a bad loss, but helps the draft.

The Colts have the #2 pick right now. Our 22nd pick will be top 10 and maybe top 5. They end up with Dante Moore. If they get another #2 pick they need to take Jeremiah Smith. The Jets need a real game changing #1 WR. Garrett is not that.

But if the team is not a serious Super Bowl contender, doesn't losing a close game to a playoff team from last year end up being the perfect result? I mean, that's what I would take from this.

I wouldn't say it's a perfect result.
We forget how young this Team is.
Even though We have some Vets these younger guys are going through their "growing pains".
We witnessed it yesterday.
They are a Team that has visible flaws but has a Future imo.
That's the difference this year.
Hopefully they can build on it.
